The primary purpose of this project was to replace the bridge on Waqua Creek Road (Route 630) over Waqua Creek in Brunswick County. The former structure was built in 1918 and carried approximately 20 vehicles per day.
Benefits
The new structure will enhance the safety and longevity of Waqua Creek Road over Waqua Creek and restores the bridge to normal load capacity.
